It's like throwing a piece of raw meat in front of a wolf that hasn't eaten in three weeks and expecting it not to eat it. I mean, come on! Of course, I'm going to go for it.

Anyway, Joe Mantegna. I didn't know he was an anti-semitic Nazi. You really shouldn't have any affinity for him.

It's really more that I think swastika flags are pretty. The Nazis hardly even enter into it. Barely at all.

William Shatner never looked better than wearing one.

Also, to finally state the actual and the obvious, Mantegna rocks!

I feel just awful that I don't know this, but when did Shatner wear a swastika flag?

Mantegna is one of my all-time favorite actors, and I really wish he'd appear more often in movies that deserve him. That said, it was great seeing him talking Mamet-speak again in REDBELT. I was starting to think those two had had a falling out.

Shatner wore a Nazi uniform in the Star Trek episode "Patterns of Force" and here's the Shat in uniform.

Oh THAT I remember. I thought there was some movie where Shatner was draped in a Nazi flag. And it drooped off one shoulder and underneath he was shirtless. That's the sort of thing I thought you were talking about. That's the image I've had in my head for the last forty minutes.

And when Shatner turned in his Nazi underwear to wardrobe, they found patterns of farts.

Fart patterns? Those things aren't really visible, are they?

"the shat?"

Yes, the Shat.

And isn't it a little odd that we're talking about Shatner in the comments section of a post (of sorts) about an actor who, in terms of acting style, is sort of the anti-Shatner?

It is, but now I suddenly want to see Shatner performing Mamet. Seriously, that might be interesting.

And Mantegna is great.

Uh, yes. Well, you know, that Montana guy certainly ain't no Shat, but he could sure throw the football. Wonder why he went into acting?
