THE THING and THEM!- hard to imagine a better one-two punch of 50s sci-fi awesomeness. Definitely a guy who falls into the "they don't seem to make em like that anymore" category.
I know what my dad and I will be discussing when I cut my folks lawn this weekend. He finally got to retire a few years back and seems to have spent the balance of his time since rewatching all 4 billion episodes of Gunsmoke.
