  1. Not particularly, no. Why?

Ha, I'm just yanking that old chain of yours. I am, as you well know, borderline obsessed with old photos, postcards, magazine ads and yes, book covers! Bring 'em on!

  2. I just now considered -- in an offhand kind of way -- starting a new blog, which would just be me scanning my library, one book at a time.

  3. See! And people think I'm crazy running three blogs and contributing to a fourth. Once you get an idea for something that doesn't quite fit with what you're already doing you think, "Hey, maybe I'll start another blog."

Be warned though: Even the simplest idea, like putting up scans, can become too much in relation to everything else. I've learned to pace myself over the years so I don't go crazy. And never, ever expect as much traffic or comments outside of your flagship blog.

  4. Oh, I know. I don't evenn know if I'll do it. I kind of like the idea, but this blog here, what I got goin', is a little bit of a catch-all as it is. It leans heavily towards movies, but I like to mix it up and/or be lazy, so this will probably just end up being a brand new feature.

  5. I am all about some old book covers, usually because most book covers were much, much better 20 or 30 years ago. Witness the changing covers of Stephen King paperbacks over the years.

  6. I'll see what I can do. Of course, my entire library is not made up of old books, but I've spent the vast majority of my book-collecting life picking up books I want in whatever edition is most readily and cheaply available, so I do have some good ones.
