I just recently earned an achievement in the wonderful, wonderful Borderlands video game called "They call me...Tim". His influence endures.
That game's hard! How the hell do you, you know, kill people! I don't play a lot of video games, which might explain it, but I'm stuck at the beginning, in that mission after you get the shield and fix the medical dealy, and then have to go to that raider camp and got to sleep, or whatever. Those fuckers kill my ass.
Not sure I recall that mission. My character's at level 33 now so I don't even wanna guess how many missions I've completed. I just got back into video games after about a 15 year layoff. I find that Borderlands hits a sweetspot for me by combining the ability to shoot things in the face with an rpg leveling-n-loot system that doesn't require an Excel spreadsheet. I suggest playing the Soldier. He's the most straightforward. His deployable turret allows you to keep enemies honest while you hide and recharge your shield. Finding a choke point in the environment and forcing enemies to come to you is big. And try to practice the ability to move while keeping a baddie in your sights. It took me a while but it gets more and more essential. Oh- and sniper rifles! Find a piece of ground you like and pick off a couple of bandits before they even know they're in a fight.
Our Asian friend has an affinity for porn. Tim the Enchanter indeed!
nice to know you ~........................................
