Those stories are even more extreme post-modern takes on pulp adventure and mystery that are twisted</i><br /><br />Don't know them, but have you read his "A River of Night's Dreaming"? I think it was meant as something of a tribute to Chambers and his King in Yellow stories in particular. A strange, vivid and highly atmospheric piece of writing, as I recall.
