That one was so ridiculous no amount of skill at work elsewhere behind the camera could have redeemed it (though, to be fair, there wasn't much evidence of that, either).Johnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05364322006357208797noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2856547151523423474.post-72899491441274873532009-11-16T08:16:58.836-05:002009-11-16T08:16:58.836-05:00Greg - When I was watching this, I thought "G...Greg - When I was watching this, I thought "Greg would LOVE this movie!" I know you so well.

John - Maybe I was too hard on the original film, but only because it's been so long since I've seen it. But I've seen three (three and a half, if you count this remake) films written by Eric Red, and I didn't like any of them. The first one was kinda fun, in a laughably over-the-top but still pretty sinister kind of way.

I'd almost forgotten they'd remade it, though. Of course, I'd be TOTALLY shocked to discover that the remake lacks everything that made the original sinister but maximizes the laughable-ness, as it sounds like this one has.Johnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05364322006357208797noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2856547151523423474.post-78885749888111006132009-11-15T16:21:42.932-05:002009-11-15T16:21:42.932-05:00This comment has been removed by the author.Uncle Gustavhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08501032829800803300noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2856547151523423474.post-7236020781785257352009-11-15T14:35:03.453-05:002009-11-15T14:35:03.453-05:00Sounds good, thanks for the recommendation.Sounds good, thanks for the recommendation.Greghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05730146625671701859noreply@blogger.com
