I suppose I would've rather a lone monstrous "Old Testament" Godzilla wreaking havoc like the first one (but hopefully on an even grander scale), instead of a savior (Christzilla?), even one cast in something of an antihero mold, as this Godzilla apparently is.<br /><br />Still, I thought Monsters was pretty good, a real nice change of pace from the endless CGI action-figure games that these spectacles generally revolve around, and especially by the last few lines of this piece, it sounds as if some of the intelligence and imagination clearly evident in that one has informed this one as well, very much to its benefit.
