This is What I Do When I Have Nothing to Write About

I hope you understand. Besides, I'll probably be reviewing Watchmen this weekend, which is what the internet wants from everybody anyway. Oh, look, it's Joan Chen!

Anyway, I guess that's it. Oh wait, I guess I should make this Watchmen appropriate, so...

Those last two ladies are in Watchmen, you see. Relevance!

Why does it say "The Frog" underneath Joan Chen???

I will be looking forward to your Watchmen review. I am gonna try and see it either tomorrow or Sunday myself.

I was going to put up a picture of the naked blue guy, but then I decided he was offensive. I can't remember why.

Fox - I'm seeing it tomorrow. I re-read some of the comic last night, and got hooked again, and I'm also intrigued by the mixed reviews that have come in so far. Glenn Kenny didn't like it, Jim Emerson did, etc. We shall see.

Don't take this the wrong way, Bill, but I love when you have nothing to write about.

I'm cautiously excited for Watchmen and will probably see it tomorrow. I've been revisiting the book as well, and finding that even though I've read it many times before and always liked it, it's much more complex and multi-layered than I'd remembered. I'm very curious to see how I wind up feeling about the film.

I only read the comic once, MANY years ago, and just from reading one issue last night I was really struck by the pace and panel layout and amount of information given presented in small sections... Look, it's not flawless, but it sure as hell is pretty damn good. People just need to realize that, while the comic IS adaptable (if the great classics of literature are seen as adaptable, then so is Watchmen), you absolutely cannot just put the pages up on the screen as they are.

Anyway, I'm curious. I'm trying to get myself into a mindset where I don't feel too invested in the thing being any good. But that's hard to do.

I just saw it earluier, and I'll probably write something on it tomorrow or so. Be interested in what you have to say.

Kinda' liked it, by the way.

Mmmmmm. Julianne Moore. She looks cold. Allow me to warm her up.

I just got back from Watchmen. I'll be looking for your review.

Jesus, Piper! Settle down! Were you doing the Igor panting when you said that???

What are you talking about Fox?

I was genuinely concerned for Moore's well-being. It may be March, but it's still cold and flu season and she could catch her death. I was just thinking I could provide her with a blanket or some warm tea perhaps.

And my mmmmmmm, has more of an inquisitive tone. Like mmmmmmmm? Something here is a miss. Like that.

It's all completely innocent.

It's Bill, that's the filthy scoundrel. None of my completely innocent comments could be taken out of context if Moore would have been draped in swatches of something or other.
